Exploring the Gospel

Living Waters Training 1.3 Gospel

The central theme of this course is the gospel. Above all, I hope that you will stand firm in the truth of the biblical gospel. I earnestly pray that through this course, you will truly meet God.

Acts speaks of being “gripped by the word” (Acts 18:5 and related passages) and of the word “growing in power and prevailing” (Acts 19:20 and related passages). Ultimately, what matters is the word of God. By tracing the heart of the gospel through the whole sweep of Scripture, this course helps you build an even firmer foundation of faith on that word.

An Ever-Flowing Journey of Life: LWT

This course is rooted in LWT, short for Living Waters Training. The phrase “Living Waters” speaks of a dynamic, life-giving spiritual vitality that never runs dry even in drought, but continually wells up, gives life to people, and flows across the whole earth.

“Exploring the Gospel” carefully brings to the web the core truths of the gospel shared in LWT training. These are not simply texts to skim for information; they are arranged to help you meditate deeply and consider your response in daily life at your own pace.

This course has no deadline. In each episode, listen and understand with the Companion Notes and audio, then look back and meditate by choosing either the teaching material or one of the existing reflection questions. Two episodes are a suggested rhythm; you choose the audio speed, whether to listen again, and whether to answer a question. Take your time along the journey, and discover the power of the gospel flowing strongly through your life.

Course Introduction

Walk through the gospel journey at your own pace, with no deadline. In each episode, open “1. Listen and Understand” first, then continue to “2. Look Back and Meditate.” After completing the episodes in a journey, connect the whole theme and look back in “Looking Back on the Journey,” then use the “Discussion Questions” to put into words the thoughts that remain with you and your response in life.
